New Class starts in New Year

Well I'm happy to say the current classes are fully booked and so I'm starting another beginners class on Wedneday in the new year. The class will be 11.30am until 12.30pm and be suitable for beginners. As with all my classes, it will be limited to 8 people so that everyone gets proper supervision, correction and adaptations, so book early if you are interested in joining it!

It's Elastic band week!

The Harborough Pilates groups are going to feature the elastic resistance bands this week. They are great for assisting in some of the more difficult movements and providing resistance to others. The last time we used them there was good feedback about how the group had felt the benefit of them.

New Class starts this Friday!

It was a quiet Pilates week last week with only the Wednesday crew in action due to the Bank Holiday. They worked really hard with an upper body focused session that really helps with improving posture and preventing a whole host of problems such as headaches, neck and shoulder pain, all very common when we spend so much time bent forwards.
Next week all the groups are going to be doing a general session with a few exercises for all area of the body. Some classes will be pushed more than others.
The new class starts on Friday 10am at the Squash Club - so let anyone know who is interested in joining! We'll be going through the basics and doing a general session ourselves in that session.

The adverts out, printing done, classes prepared - Harborough Pilates is about to expand!
Having successfully established two classes over at Balance Health Club, through Kettering Physio First, and one here in Harborough at the Squash Club it is time to expand. I'm quite excited about meeting some new patients / clients and being able to help them improve their lives by introducing them to some great Pilates exercises. I love the fact that I get to be able to tailor the exercises to each of the class participant and  that no one gets lost in a large class.
So with two weeks to go - get booking your place!
